Please note that processing loans takes time and at least a 6 month
lag time is needed in most cases to process a loan. After the initial
request is provided, consultation with the appropriate curators and
conservation staff will the need to occur.
Any and all expenses related to the loan will be covered by the lender.
Images
halfspoon.com will reproduce existing images of our
collections upon written request and subject to restrictions and
guidelines as found in the
Policies for Image Reproduction and Use.
In addition to a reproduction or image fee, an additional use fee
will also be charged if the image is to be published or displayed.
Exceptions to the use fee may be granted for academic papers, theses, or
dissertations. If an image does not exist, there is an hourly cost for
new photography in addition to the image and use fees.
Fees will be charged based on a case by case basis. Please be sure to email us with as much detail as possible. This will
provide the basis for all charges. Once the fee has been established the
work will begin.
